From X Factor ridicule to LA princess, Chloe Khan has come a long way.

A model who was once dubbed Britain’s biggest chav is having the last laugh after living her very own rags to riches story.

Chloe Khan was ridiculed after appearing on British singing competition The X Factor but has since gone on to make a fortune from setting up a webcam business and working as a model.

She now travels the world in the lap of luxury, flying in private jets, driving fast cars and wearing designer clothes.

But life was not always so lavish for Chloe – she grew up in poverty in a council house in the North of England.

‘I just had to make a life for myself because I knew the life I had in Wakefield was no life at all,’ says Chloe. ‘I didn’t want my family to live like that anymore – I didn’t know how to get out but I just knew that I wanted to.

‘My lifestyle is pretty incredible now – it’s mansions and private jets and everything else that I could only imagine when I was younger.’

Chloe recently spent £600,000 on a four-bed house on the outskirts of Leeds for her mum and bought herself a six-bed property nearby.

But the jet-setting model would have been unrecognisable just a few years ago.

‘If people saw me in my teenage years they would think that I was going nowhere,’ admits Chloe.  ‘I’m just so glad I was able to give something back to my mum – I had absolutely nothing to lose.’

In 2010 the 23-year-old changed her life forever when she appeared on The X Factor – leading her to be ridiculed by the nation’s press.

Chloe was labeled a bad mother because of drug allegations and there were even claims that she worked as an escort – which she vehemently denies.

‘I didn’t have a road map, that’s why I did it,’ she explains. ‘I didn’t think I was a singer, I know I’m not a singer but I just wanted to try anything – it was desperation, I just wanted to get away.

‘At the time it was a nightmare but I am now glad that I went through it – it’s like I’m watching somebody else when I see clips of myself as Chloe Mafia.’

Her webcam business now employs around 50 girls and has a £1m-a-year turnover.

The company’s success has allowed Chloe to completely reinvent herself with cosmetic surgery and designer clothes.

‘The transformation wasn’t overnight,’ adds Chloe. ‘I didn’t go from being a chav clown to an LA princess – it has been a long journey.

‘I have had slight rhinoplasty just to neaten my nose and obviously I’ve had a boob job or two, taking my breasts to a 32HH.’

Chloe's not short of confidence

But she has no problems slipping back into her old ways when returning home from LA.

‘When I go back up north I’m quite a chameleon – I will just put on my tracksuit and tie my hair back with no make-up.

‘Obviously times have changed and my life is very different but I can still go back there.’

Along with modelling for Playboy, she is now the international face of strip club chain Spearmint Rhino – after its founder John Gray, who also happens to be her boyfriend – offered her the gig.

Chloe met John, who is one of the richest men in the adult entertainment industry, at a party at the Playboy Mansion on Halloween.

John, 58 says: ‘We didn’t grow up with a silver spoon in our mouth. We took a bad upbringing and twisted it into success.

‘I am amazed at what she has done. A lot of people from her neighbourhood will have gotten involved with drinking or drugs but not her.

‘She is a freak of nature – she will definitely leave her mark on this world.’

Chloe’s lifestyle and looks have also led to comparisons with superstar Kim Kardashian.

‘Life is great for me now – I’ve left all the negativity behind and now I’m looking to the future,’ she says. ‘I didn’t really know that I looked like Kim Kardashian until someone pointed it out a few years ago.

‘I love Kim’s life and I think mine will be exactly the same one day. It’s already nearly there – I get nothing but compliments whenever I’m out but people soon realise I’m not Kim Kardashian when I open my mouth – I still have the Yorkshire accent.

‘But people often mistake me for her before they hear me speak.’
